Open Position

 

Project Team Member

 

  • Work on a project together with 2-4 team members

  • Create and stick to a project plan agreement and timeline

  • Meet with client initially to decide on initial design requirements, then monthly to discuss progress and receive feedback on prototypes

  • Meet with a management team member weekly to check on progress

  • Present your group’s work at design reviews and semester showcases

  • Average time commitment: 2-6 hours per week (varies by project)

Management Team Member

 

  • Communicate with interested students to assign students to projects

  • Attend weekly Management Team meetings

  • Meet with clients to discuss new projects for the organization

  • Meet with project team members weekly to check in on progress

  • Average time commitment: 4-6 hours per week

Social Media Manager

 

  • Post frequently on Enabling Engineering social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

  • Advertise recruitment events and sign-up forms

  • Average time commitment: 1-2 hours per week

Organization Photographer

 

  • Take photos of showcase events, projects, and teams working in the lab as needed

  • Time commitment varies: around 1-2 hours per week maximum

3D Printing Assistant (Part-time Paid Position)

 

  • Must have experience working with Prusa and Ultimaker 3D printers

  • Print items for project team members as needed

  • Troubleshoot technical issues with printers

  • Time commitment varies depending on the projects that are running

Press Release Assistant

 

  • Write pieces about Enabling Engineering in student publications, COE newsletters, etc.
